This is book 2 in this wonderful family western. The story centers around James the second son and revisits the other family members letting us know how the first couple are going. James is the son that doesn't want to be a rancher and becomes the town Deputy. James isn't looking for love but this little hellcat finds him anyway. This is their journey, quite the roller coaster ride, this girl is hurting inside and has a dreadful life which makes her foul tempered. Can James get to the bottom of this and tame his girl? A band of outlaws in the mix create a lot of drama and heart stopping moments throughout this tale. You'll be glad medicine has evolved after reading this. I thoroughly enjoyed this fast moving tale and look forward to starting book 3.
The Glenmore's: Revenge
An old fashioned western romance set back in the times of little technology, you wonder how did they find the bad guys?...through blood, sweat and bullets.I've read a few books by this author and it was lovely to go back and read her first book to see her growth. This book was so corny at times I had a good chuckle, but it fit the time of the story line and worked well.
The story is based around a family and this one centers around the oldest brother, his unexpected romance and all the drama in between. You'll find yourself caught up in the emotions of these wonderful characters. The descriptions are so vivid you will almost smell the land and see it in your mind.
I fell in love with this family and moved straight onto book 2.
Taming the Alpha: A Dark Wolf-Shifter Romance (Plus a BONUS BOOK, for a Limited Time!)
I really enjoyed this book, even though it's 4th in the series you can read it as stand alone. But you will get spoilers about previous characters, which is fine for me as I read so much I will forget.The story was short and sweet, I read it over my daily commute. The plot was well written and kept me intrigued, the characters were fun and sexy with some drama. Claudia will need to get to the bottom of Karl Blackmane's issues of why he doesn't want to be seen or touched while naked. Why he is afraid to share his feelings with her. You'll start to care and wonder yourself as you read the story. Will they end up mating and spending their lives together and will they get their HEA?
Abducted Part 1: Through the Looking Glass
A great introduction to a new world...or worlds.I can see this series becoming very addictive. Zoe the curvy earth girl is kidnapped by a half breed alien to be traded. Sarden is huge, has horns and is sexy as the devil she imagines him to be.
We're left hanging at the end, will she win him over or will she be traded off once the ship is fixed? I need more now.
Kickin' Up Dust (Operation Cowboy)
I was lucky to get a copy of this book before release and alas I read too fast and it's all over.Brodie is a Marine who comes home to his family farm to find the town flattened by a tornado. His best friend and neighbour Matt didn't make it home and Brodie finds Matt's little sister Danica all grown up. He is torn between wanting her and the best friend code of not touching little sisters. The chemistry between them is sizzling. The story centers around the rebuilding of the town, Danica's parents who are deep in their grief and the banter between Brodie and Danica.
The dog scene got me and my eyes were all blurry reading on the train (don't worry, happy ending).
I loved the story and the characters and got totally engrossed in their tale.
Only thing I did want was an epilogue...what happens next?

Forget Me Knot
I love this series even though I'm pretty much reading it backwards as I read the last two in the series and now gone back to see how it all began. This book introduces us to the 'brothers' and how they came to be a family sharing this home at Crawley Creek.This is the story of one of the brothers Drannon, and Lacy who is running from her own demons and comes to spend some time there. She learns to ride a horse and experience wide open spaces as well as fall in love. The chemistry between them is sizzling from the start and you want their time to extend so that Lacy doesn't leave.
I really enjoyed 'seeing' what this area of the country is like, though it sounds too cold for me. The story was sexy and fun and I look forward to reading the next one.
Gypsy Love
My first book by this author and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I've read gypsy books before and this one was quite unique. An ancient curse that had travelled through the generations bringing a modern gypsy girl in contact with a ghost from her ancestor's past. There was quite a twist in the middle, can one be happy and sad at the same time? The characters had an endless love and were a delight to read.The drama at the end had me hiding in a cafe at lunchtime where work couldn't disturb me so I could read those final chapters. I loved the ending and the insight to their future.
Paladin
This is the second book in this series and I'm hooked. I love this world that Montana Ash has created. The characters are hilarious and the story line lots of fun, drama and action.This story was based around 2 of the other characters but certainly didn't leave out the characters from the first book. I enjoyed their continuing journey and can't wait for more....I have book hangover now and don't know what to read next.
Warden
This was a debut novel? Wow I'm impressed. I love that the author is Aussie and that she had her characters and storyline sound typically Aussie. Great start to a series with Wardens and Paladins - you can read the book to find out what that means. I love the kick arse little heroine and her connection with her merry crew of hot dudes. I think I chuckled through most of the book at the banter between them all. Meatsicle!!! bahahahaThe ending though...god I hate cliff hangers Montana, you're so lucky I can read book 2 now before I hunt you down.
Scarred
I read the previous version of this book which was shorter, but basically the same plot...so I was curious to see how it would pan out with the added details and changes. Michael and Charlotte meet at a funeral where her angry actions leave him intrigued. They have an instant attraction but Charlotte has a secret that holds her back from getting close to men.
Charlotte's career as a financial planner has her helping Michael's business and each appointment gives them time to get to know each other.
Will she help save his business? Will she reveal her secret and find true love?
This is a wonderful romance between two people with problems. One who is emotionally scarred and one feeling unworthy due to physical scarring.
I highly recommend this story for lovers of romance and HEAs.
Vampire Bites: Vampire Paranormal Romance Boxed Set
I'm a fan of vampires and other paranormal romance and I looked forward to reading all of these books.Such a great selection of stories, some I liked more that others but a perfect opportunity to discover authors I didn't know before. A great set covering vampires, witches and others with drama, love and lots of steamy scenes with mystery and suspense thrown in.
I highly recommend this boxed set with something for everyone.
Rough Water
Wow, what a story that took my emotions on quite a ride. I hadn't read this series but I knew of the author's work with other books.Sarah and Justin are newlyweds who have to deal with a tragedy that will make or break them as a couple. They pretty much shut down their emotions dealing with guilt and grief and this lack of communication could break their marriage apart.
I couldn't put this book down, I wanted to climb in there and slap them silly. Such a tug on the heartstrings and at times so frustrating.
Great story line, wonderful characters...this story is a winner, I loved it.

I read parts 1 - 4 back to back and loving it so far.Bethany is a smart, yet poor girl graduating at the top of her class. Her dilemma is how to afford the rest of her education while she studies for her Masters. Her mother is about to marry a rich man who generously offers her a job while he pays for her studies. Her future stepbrother Damon will be her boss and sparks are flying. Sexual tension in the office and at home, will it be her downfall?
The plot is great and flying by at a fast pace. The characters are fun and I'm enjoying the banter, the drama and the sizzle. Damon is a man-whore, he lacks trust in woman due to past baggage, will Bethany be 'the one' or will he break her heart? I need to go and hunt down the rest of series too find out.
