I loved this story and was addicted from the beginning. Jennifer was a character with many layers who was in the wrong place at the wrong time. Circumstances led to her being blackmailed to perform in a strip club along with other girls forced to live this life. A tragedy in her personal life was the turnaround for her. The police became involved in her personal life and one detective in particular who had his own tragedy in connection with the strip club was determined to help her and solve his case. The chemistry between these two characters was hot and a nice balance from the ugliness of her forced lifestyle.
This was a great story from Lacey Roberts and I look forward to reading more. I highly recommend this book.
