I grabbed a freebie of this book for an honest review.
An Australian author that I hadn't heard of before and wow what a story she wove. I love that the book read like a friend talking to me, typical Australian expressions and not Americanized.
It was quite an emotional ride that kept me glued to my kindle. I got down to 5 minutes to go and thought no way the action is unfolding, how will it end. There was that moment that I thought OMG I didn't see that coming followed by another unexpected event.
I loved the characters and their development, love and despair then love again. "Don't trust anyone" was the catchphrase so you are left wondering what's truth and what's lies.
The author wrapped up the ending neatly...ok really I wanted more. The story was bloody brilliant and I'll certainly be looking for more from Becca.
